Description and Background    Description: Harlan is a fairly ordinary-looking dwarf, except that he has no beard or moustache at all. His lower face is a webwork of scars. He lost half his left ear at some point. He usually has a wad of pipeweed (chewing tobacco) in his cheek. He can be a surly bastard, sometimes- but he's loyal to his friends. Background: Harlan is in self-imposed exile from the Dwarven lands. An accident when he was a child left him with a badly scarred face, and unable to grow a beard. He got tired of the harassment and insults from "normal" dwarves, and left to seek his fortune in the wide world.
