Description and Background
Description:
Thayilli is a young woman, of around nineteen Turns. She has long black hair, and bright green eyes. She is reasonably tall for a woman but pretty thin, with a notable lack of curves. Not that she doesn't have any, just…she could easily dress to pretend to be a young boy if she so desired… She can be really pleasant to be around: she's smart, easy to talk to, and often with a joke or two. And she doesn't disdain the odd prank. But there is also another side to her: she positively hates being given orders (outside of some very clearly defined parameters), doesn't mind reminding those who would need it that she didn't ask to be there in the first place (even though she wouldn't abandon her dragon for anything of course). In the Weyr, no one knows if they should envy the rider of the Bronze her dragon will choose or pity him. Sameroth, her dragon, is a young queen. She's almost at her adult size now, and already larger than most of the senior Queens.

Background:
Thayilli is a young woman and was a member of the Healers Hall who had just obtained the rank of journeyman when, while on a trip, she was invited to a Weyr to treat the likely victims of young dragons clumsiness at the next Impression. Just the case of a young dragon rider that was told to go fetch a healer and brought her back (despite her very notable lack of enthusiasm), without thinking that she was the right age to be standing on the sand with the candidates. And the upper members of the Weyr didn't know she was around until something unexpected happened: the newborn gold dragon didn't go for any of the girls standing by near the egg, but beelined to her... and shared her name: Sameroth. It's been a bit more than a year since then, and Thayilli is now ready to truly become a dragonrider in practice and not just theory.
