Description and Background    Description: Incredibly tall for her gender, this Amazonian is a stoic woman inured to hardship. Her face was once attractive before years of constant training, toil and an eternity of praying turned her features stark and her eyes dark and mirthless. Her hair is like chopped straw, cut short and kept out of her eyes. Background: An orphan, Gessane was placed into a monastic order of martial warrior priestesses at the age of 7. Training was harsh and unforgiving with corporal punishment meted out by the stern sisters for even the smallest infraction. Like all initiates, she took on various vows such as eschewing wealth and sex. To serve in battle, to prove one’s bravery, prowess and mettle was all that mattered.
