Background:
As the runt of the litter, Kura was considered too small and weak to be a front-line raider and was generally relegated to picking off those who tried to run and tagging areas to mark their territory. During a time of poor hunting for his raiding clan, Kura was close to starving, and in desperation broke into a recent tomb to feed. He was caught and exiled for violating the tenets of Anu-Akma. Wandering the desert delirious with thirst, he prayed and was answered by Bastet--who offered him survival if he would travel north into the lands of the Empire and do her bidding.
