Description and Background
Description:
Rodbert is a quiet man, trying to keep to his business as a Chandler when he can. He is of average height and build, which is deceptive. He hides a fair amount of weight and strength within his frame. His skin is moderately tan from his travels. He normally wears hoods or wide brimmed hats with the Chandler guild badge (3 candles on a black background) that help to hide his face. When one can see his face, he had light brown hair and grey eyes. His face is somewhat misshapen and scarred from a fight years ago. His looks and the negative reaction he would receive from people upon their observing him has led Rodbert to have a rather curt manner, not very pleasant to be around. He has little tolerance for robbers and for those who try to bully others. He tempers things by speaking as little as possible and allowing his lackey, Ernest, to be more of the spokesperson for when they are selling things.

Background:
Growing up on a farm, Rodbert (or Rod as his parents would call him) wanted more than just tending crops. A chance encounter soon had him apprenticed to a Chandler. Several years into this new life, he and his master were robbed and beaten. Not wanting to be taken advantage of again, he started training with swords and other arms. The next time he was being robbed, this new knowledge only served for him to gain a highly severe beating. As the robber moved in to kill him, Rod's latent talent's helped to turn the tide and save himself. The wounds to his face left it misshapen and scarred which turned his general demeanor negative. The negative looks he receives from when he meets people have given him a drive to show that looks do not define a person and they can accomplish anything. This has led him to learn how to harness his Aura to its fullest extent and to continue to learn the art of armed combat.
